  • Preparing and cooking children's meals
  • Taking the children to, and picking up from school/playgroups

Our Executive Nannies are experienced professional child carers who will not be asked to complete domestic chores outside of the above description.

Employment Details and Salaries for Executive Nannies

We offer both permanent and temporary contracts. A permanent post for a Nanny is a one-year contract. We provide two types of temporary posts – the first is a temporary short term cover based on a 1 week to 3 month basis with no contract being drawn up due to the nature of the position e.g. Emergency Care.

The other temporary post can be contractual for 3 months or 6 months, with a view to extend to a one year permanent contract if required when the temporary contract finishes. With regards to salary, as in most fields there are no hard and fast rules as to the level of pay for Nannies.

There are a number of factors that will help determine the salary requested:

  • Is the position live in or live out
  • The number of children & their ages
  • The amount of experience/skills the Nanny has
  • The age of the Nanny
  • Full license driver and own car
  • Specialised care

Regardless of qualifications, experience is the biggest factor in a Nanny's salary. The more experience a Nanny has behind her, you will be guaranteed that his/her references will be of the highest calibre. However, taking all the varying factors into account, salaries for an Executive Nanny can range from €500-€1000 gross per week. This is based on a permanent role working five days a week, and full time hours, which would be a minimum of 39 hours – to a maximum of 50 hours in any given week.
