Holiday Nannies  

Many families going on holidays wish to give their nanny her holiday at that time but this leaves them short of help at what is supposed to be a relaxing and restful time! However if you take your nanny with you, it will leave you short handed at another time when perhaps is vital to have your
nanny. Executive Nannies can provide the ideal solution to this conundrum.Take one of our nannies with you on holiday. She will provide 24 hour cover, six days per week for the duration of your holiday. Salaries for holiday nannies vary from €500 - €700 per week.
 
Our Nannies  
At Executive Nannies, all our nannies are career nannies. They have chosen caring for children as a profession and they are amongst the most competent and experienced in the industry.They have at least two years professional experience.They are generally qualified to provide for the care and educational development of children.
 
Their Role  

A nanny’s primary role is to stimulate the child’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social growth through play and activities in a loving and happy environment. All of her duties are directly concerned with the care of the children. Her nursery duties will include the following:

  • Washing and Dressing the Children
  • Taking children to school/play groups
  • Taking the children swimming, horse riding and other sporting activities
  • Bringing the children on outings to the park etc.
  • Preparing and cooking children’s meals
  • Children’s laundry and ironing
  • Children’s bedrooms and play areas

Your nanny is an experienced professional child carer. She should not be asked to complete domestic chores outside of the above description. This will compromise her ability and change the focus of her attention from caring for the children in a safe and happy environment.
 
Length of Stay  
Generally, the initial length of a permanent post for a nanny is a one year contract.A nanny works up to 10 hours per day, with two days off per week and four weeks paid holidays plus bank holidays.A nanny required to work weekends should have one weekend free per month.
 
Accomodation  
Live-In Nannies are provided with their own bedroom to include a television and where possible a private bathroom.
