The data you provide to us on the Nannies section of this website is used by us to make contact with you and to provide you with an employment placement service in the professional childcare industry. The personal data you provide us with, including your CV, will be made available to suitable families for the purpose of potential employment only. Extracts of your CV may also be displayed on this website for perusal in the Families section, but only with your express and explicit consent, and, unless we have agreed with you otherwise, with your personal data removed - name, address, date of birth, age, nationality, all contact details, references. If you have agreed to us publishing a testimonial on the website we will publish your full testimonial including your name if you have included it in the body of your testimonial.

 

If at any time you wish to remove, correct or update any personal data we hold, including the display of your CV or testimonial, please contact us using the information supplied at the end of this Privacy Statement.

 

If you have agreed to obtaining Garda Clearance, your personal data will be made available to An Garda Siochana.

 

Your personal data is handled by data processing companies that we employ, such as credit card processors to handle payments and our web host who assists in the transmission of data. Should you choose to fill out one of our Employment Registration forms available on the Nannies section of this website, then you will be providing us with Personal Data. The minimum personal data we ask for online are your contact details (name, address, email and contact numbers). This will allow us to make contact with you to initiate the employment service as requested by you.

 

You can also, via the online Employment Registration forms, provide us with more details about yourself and various specifics regarding your employment requirements as a childcare professional. We ask for this data in order to match you with a suitable family. If you are concerned about providing your personal data, or aspects of it, over public, unencrypted forms of transmission (eg telephone, internet, email), you are most welcome to download a printable form from the website (or ring us, and we will send you one in the post). Along with your personal data, we also collect your IP address and the date and time the online registration form was sent. This is for security reasons.

 

2. Other Personal Data collected

To protect against fraudulent requests, we ask you to help us by furnishing us with 2 documents as proof of identity. Please also enclose your name, return address and a contact number. A valid request will be dealt with in 40 days of our receipt of same in writing.
