A warm and professional family of four is seeking a polished full-time Nanny/Family Assistant to support their household and care for their two children who are 8 and 4. The children are typically in school until 2pm, so the role will have some childcare, along with some family assistant tasks. The family values reliability, flexibility, and a true team player who can seamlessly jump between childcare and family assistant responsibilities. They are looking for someone who can grow with them for the long term. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and nurturing candidate who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves both engaging with children and managing behind-the-scenes family logistics. From afternoon childcare to planning birthday parties and prepping meals, this position is a little bit of everything, and central to helping the household run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a warm, engaging, and structured afternoon routine for the children

• Help with homework and school-related projects

• Transporting to and from school/activities using provided vehicle

• Provide flexible care when children are home sick or on school breaks

• Grocery shopping, meal planning and light meal prep

• Managing returns, errands, and household scheduling

• Household organization, keeping common areas tidy, and restocking

• Planning events such as birthdays or holidays

• General family support with a “no task too small” mindset

The ideal candidate is experienced in both childcare and family assistance, reliable, adaptable, organized, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities with ease. They should be proactive and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills, and hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Someone who has a team-oriented mindset and is ready to pitch in wherever needed would thrive in this role.

Requirements

• Legal to work in the U.S.

• Prior nanny or assistant experience

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Ability to pass background and reference checks
