A busy Newport Beach family seeks a dependable Housekeeper/Cook/Family Assistant to keep the home clean and organized, prepare fresh family meals, and support the flow of a busy household with active teenagers.

Position Overview
This hands-on hybrid role blends housekeeping, organizing, cooking, and family support. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in creating a well-run, welcoming household. While not primarily a childcare position, the role includes being a friendly, dependable go-to resource for the kids, including driving and support.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Home Care
Clean and maintain all living spaces (kitchen, family room, bathrooms, bedrooms, laundry room, etc.).
Perform daily and weekly cleaning: vacuuming, dusting, mopping, wiping surfaces, and emptying trash.
Wash, fold, and put away laundry; change linens and towels.
Rotate deeper cleaning projects (e.g., refrigerator, oven, baseboards, cabinets).
Keep home tidy, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
Family Cooking & Kitchen Management
Plan, prepare, and serve wholesome family dinners three days per week.
Prep meals or components for other days, including breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and additional dinners.
Follow family dietary preferences using fresh, balanced ingredients.
Keep kitchen clean (dishes, counters, appliances, and floors).
Manage grocery lists and shopping; maintain organized pantry and fridge.
Organization & Family Support
Maintain organized, efficient household systems (closets, pantry, laundry, mudroom, playroom, and storage)
Stay ahead of household needs: track supplies, restock essentials, and anticipate tasks.
Run errands, returns, and grocery shopping.
Drive teenagers to and from local activities (family vehicle provided).
Walk and feed two small dogs.
Be a reliable, approachable presence for the kids when needed.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in private-home service (housekeeper, cook, or family-assistant role).
Strong family-style cooking and meal-planning skills.
Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
Professional, trustworthy, and discreet.
Comfortable in a home with teens and small dogs.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Flexible for extra hours as needed.
